WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER

The Bar is open 7 days a week from 8 am for Tea, Coffee and Breakfasts*. The Bar is open from 8 am 'til 2 am (3 am on weekends and Bank Holidays) every day (*breakfasts available for campers and walkers if booked in advance. Packed lunches can also be provided).

Meals and Bar Snacks are available every day between 12 noon & 2.30 pm and from 7 pm to 9.00 pm (all day Saturday / Sunday in The Summer Holidays) There is no need to book in advance but please let us know if you're coming as a party of more than six.

We can cater for children's parties as well as group meetings, business lunches and other special occasions. Menu's available on request. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can always be catered for with advanced notice.

Accommodation is available in on of or well appointed en-suite rooms. All inclusive long weekend and mid-week deals are still available for the winter period.

Mike and Tracy took over Tan Hill in June 2005 and are looking forward to the challenge ahead.

It takes a special kind of person to live at Tan Hill, what with ferocious Pennine winds and winters that can last six months. Christmas is white at Tan Hill, Beer has been known to freeze in the pipes. Tracy hopes to bring a little more comfort and modern convenience to Tan Hill without, loosing any of its charm and character.

The Bar hasn't changed a great deal, with open beams and stone flagged floor. The fire blazes in the grate almost every day of the year, and first arrivals claim the converted seats by the hearth. There's a nap hand of Theakston and Black Sheep including the ferociously strong Old Peculier. Mike and Tracy have greatly expanded the food menu, and offer delicious home cooked meals and snacks that will satisfy the hungriest Pennine Wayfarer.

Tan Hill Inn is a Free House and serves a full range of the finest cask conditioned ales. Our new Cellar and delivery system ensures that our cask conditioned Ales are delivered to you in first class condition. Our Ales are complimented with a variety premium lagers and spirits to suit all tastes. Once served, you can fight for that coveted place next to the hearth relax in the newly refurbished non-smoking lounge.

Entertaining our customers is something we do well at Tan Hill Inn. Whether you're a Folk fan or a Rock & Roll reveller, we have live music nights throughout the year to suit all tastes.

The Barn at Tan Hill is the venue to be seen at in the Dales! As well as live music events and hosting car rallies, the barn is available for Weddings, Birthday parties, Stag and Hen Nights and many other special occasions.
