WHAT WE HAVE TO OFFER
FROM AROUND MID-SEPTEMBER TO THE END OF JUNE
Lunchtime Meals and Bar Snacks are available every day between 12 noon and 2.30 pm Monday to Friday and 12 noon and 3.00 pm Saturday and Sunday. There is no need to book in advance but please let us know if you're coming as a party of more than six.
Evening Meals and Bar Snacks are available every day and from 7 pm to 9.00 pm. There is no need to book in advance but please let us know if you're coming as a party of more than six.
Between 2.30pm and 7pm we provide a range of Light Bites, Soup and Sandwiches.
FROM JULY TO AROUND EARLY SEPTEMBER
During these Summer months we serve a full menu from 12 noon to 9.45pm everyday (please ring us first to confirm).... AND a new evening menu from 6.30pm to 9.45pm. There is no need to book in advance but please let us know if you're coming as a party of more than six.
The Bar is open 7 days a week from 8 am for Tea, Coffee and Light Breakfasts until 11am*
(*Breakfasts are available for campers, walkers and floor dossers only if booked in advance the night before. Packed lunches can also be provided).
The Bar is open every day from 8 am until 2 am (3 am on weekends and Bank Holidays).
We can cater for children's parties as well as group meetings, business lunches and other special occasions. Menus are available on request. Vegetarian and other dietary requirements can always be catered for with advanced notice.
Mike and Tracy took over Tan Hill in June 2005 and have really enjoyed their 'home' here at the 'Top of Britain'. It takes a special kind of person to live at Tan Hill, what with ferocious Pennine winds and winters that can last six months. Christmas is white at Tan Hill.... even the Beer has been known to freeze in the pipes!
Mike and Tracy have greatly expanded the food menu, and offer delicious home cooked meals and snacks that will satisfy the hungriest Pennine Wayfarer.
Tan Hill Inn is a Free House and serves a full range of the finest cask conditioned ales. Our new Cellar and delivery system ensures that our cask conditioned Ales are delivered to you in first class condition. Our Ales are complimented with a variety premium lagers and spirits to suit all tastes. Once served, you can fight for that coveted place next to the hearth relax in the newly refurbished non-smoking lounge.
The barn is available for Weddings, Birthday parties, Stag and Hen Nights and many other special occasions. |
