JUST A FEW OF THE THINGS YOU HAVE MISSED ALREADY

DRUNK IN PUBLIC

Two nights of the most fabulous music with Drunk in Public  with support from Dan Donnelly and Terry Gorman

Apart from the Music and the atmosphere  the one thing that sticks in the mind was  seeing everybody after the gig inside outside just milling around talking and laughing, including the lads from Drunk in Public .

One to remember for a long time

LANTERNS ON THE LAKe

With two support acts warming up the crowd well  what a start to a great night

then LANTERNS took to the stage  and did they put on a show

after their success at Glastonbury  and other festivals  they wowed the audience  a lot of whom didn't know of the band  but who went home as Lanterns on the lake fans

the band have a very hectic year  this year but have promised to come back and play for us if time allows so keep watching the  web for more info

BRITISH SEA POWER FESTIVAL
Our British Sea Power Festival on the 30th April and 1st & 2nd May was an outstandingly successful musical event which lifted the roof off and provided phenomenal entertainment for the thousands of people who came along over the Festival period.  In addition we are very pleased to have raised some £1400 for the hospice at Wetherby from your generous donations. Many Thanks!

Live Music Event - Friday January 9th/10th 2009
HAKUNA MATATA
(A Blackpool/Leeds Collective Collaboration) who entertained us and themselves for 2 days with their version of a pre Glastonbury type mini-fest. Dan Audio who i'd heard a lot about failed to turn up for whatever reason, and although it wasn't packed in numbers (compared to when British Sea Power and the Arctic Monkeys turned up)it was a nice chilled out atmosphere. One of the most pro active people during the fest was a 12 year old girl Scarlet who sang a few songs and also organised games and rallying people together the next day. Troubadour
