DID YOU SEE TRACY AND MIKE? - Tuesday 18th May 2010 at 10pm
…. Did you see your Tan Hill hosts, Tracy and Mike, on "Home" which is Sky TV Channel 246 and Virgin 265. This programme was one of the popular series hosted by Nick Knowles called "Nick Knowles' Original Features".
"Their new home is a Grade II listed farmhouse, with a walled garden, an old granary and the foundations of other previous phases visible. With the help of documents from the 19th century, and old photos and memories from the local community, Mike and Tracy are soon able to piece together the history of their home - in the early 20th century, the upstairs room was used as a local ballroom!"

Recently acquired in 2008, this is the sister venue to Tan Hill Inn and is located near Taunton in Somerset. Therefore those who have visited Tan Hill on holiday from further south, will be able to enjoy the fun nearer from home. And those 'locals' to Tan Hill may choose to visit Knapp Farm on holiday for one of our coming events. Knapp Farm is an historic farm with a thatched roof, located in a beautiful, historic setting. Set amidst beautiful countryside, it's 18 acres is a perfect Event and Festival location, with ample room for camping and caravans.

KNAPP FARM 'YORKSHIRE' FESTIVAL 2009
Well it was only last week that my goodself Richie went down with Tracy to have a look at the place with the intention of making this little part of Somerset a cultural haven. We are still debating whether to let Retox Soundsystem from Exeter do the first gig in May, nut in all probability it'll be our Yorkshire Fest, with loads of bands and great Northern beers, what we sell at Tan Hill (Ewe Juice, Black Sheep, Old Peculiar, Riggwelter). Of course we'll be introducing those cider drinking natives to the delights of Yorkshire pudding and our famous Tan Hill Sausage (Swallow that love!). Some of the bands that may be playing (tbc of course) are the Monkey Wrenchers, The John Hunt Ceilidh band, poet Dennis (just dennis), dj Rantin Richie.
