The World Famous Tan Hill Inn has been voted by ‘The Times‘ as one of the top ten wild places to stay in the UK!
This 17th-century inn off the Pennine Way may not win design awards, but take a look outside. Britain’s highest pub at 1,732ft is surrounded by miles of pristine moorland. The night skies are something to behold; visit at the right time of year and you might see the northern lights. There are seven basic rooms and two bunkrooms, as well as Yorkshire beers and decent pub grub.
